Live rosin comes from a solventless method, using ice water and a low temperature press, resulting in a creamy, aromatic extract known as live rosin.
Live resin extraction is done with the same terpene preservation idea in mind, but with a solvent (usually butane) and low temperature, closed loop extraction equipment that results in an concentrate that also preserves the original plant terpenes. Solvent remediation (removal) cleans the final product of any residuals resulting in a high end, sugary oil known as live resin.
